Assistant in Corporate Events -- Prestigious Private Bank

Dynamic role within the Corporate Events team. Fill a “utility player” role, filling out the department and absorbing some tasks managed by current team members. The role will be supportive in nature yet also evolving. Strong organizational skills, precision with detail work, ability to will roll with the punches, roll-up-your sleeves attitude, and the ability to be client focused as/if needed. Strong fit for the corporate culture, poised and professional, discreet, hard-working, self-managing, flexible to travel and be “on location” for several weeks in the summer and have an overall understanding of/curiosity about complex event management that includes a vast number of moving parts. Participate in the full cycle of annual conferences which will include set-up and break-down of the on-site office, emphasis on managing the conference staff and data related to conference attendance. Able to interact effectively with both locally-hired conference staff and the in-house team, maintain and improve on the already high standards and continually upgrade best practices. This is a fantastic team.
Requirements: A strong overall eye for data and data management. Strong experience with Salesforce or any related events management/project management software, excel document creation/maintenance for tracking inventory, timelines, etc. Solid operations experience managing employees, scheduling, setting up an office, managing the entire inventory, establishing best temp office work protocols. Very hands on and very behind the scenes.
