Overview: Not-for-profit real estate trade association seeks an experienced candidate with strong analytical, quantitative, written, presentation, customer service, and interpersonal skills for a position as Compliance Service Manager. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and should also have experience in compliance. Knowledge of compliance processes and procedures is ideal along with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be:

  • A skilled manager with very strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • A highly process and detail-oriented individual
  • Proactive and innovative with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proficient in collecting and processing violation reports
  • Capable of identifying, tracking and resolving violations and certify data compliance
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Proficient with databases and all Microsoft Office products
  • Familiar with various contract management and complaint management software
  • Able to demonstrate outstanding outward-facing customer service
  • Capable of presenting to a larger audience or within an organization on status and any special projects

    Responsibilities

    • Verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated
    • Review or modify policies to comply with changes to standards or regulations
    • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes
    • Verify that appropriate technology is in place to adequately provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas
    • Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards
    • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation
    • Discuss emerging compliance issues with management
    • Work with Data Director on resolving reported data violations
    • Develop schedules to meet critical deadlines
    • Review and provide supporting documents for hearings
    • Consult with attorneys as necessary to address legal compliance issues
    • Provide assistance to external auditors with compliance reviews

     

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2-5 years of experience working in Business Management, Business Administration, Law, Paralegal Studies or similar are required.

Hours/Benefits:
