Real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, developing and managing a portfolio of self-storage facilities across the United States. The firm was founded in 2016 and has been capitalized with a $300 million equity commitment from a private investment firm with offices in New York and Dallas.
Responsibilities: The Deal Operations Coordinator role will act as the hub and source of expertise on all transaction processes.
Work closely alongside CEO, investment team and VP of Operations to maintain projects from indication to closed (documents signed and wired). Work as part of a tightly knit team, particularly with business development and legal, to set up process, timeline, and deliverables for each step in a deal. Interface with external parties (client, their attorneys, issuer) to the ensure process stays on course and on schedule. Proactively identify potential issues ahead of time to pre-empt them and/or set contingency plans. General administrative duties such as phone, email, calendars, meetings, coordination, etc.
Requirements: 3+ years of corporate experience, preferably in real estate, legal or finance, but could be flexible on backgrounds.
Bachelor's Degree highly desirable. Detail oriented, multi-tasker, organized, excellent follow-up skills. Excellent written, verbal communication skills are a requirement
Hours/Benefits: 9-6/OT, exempt. 24/7 mentality, extra hours will be necessary some days.
