Multi-strategy alternative asset manager with professionals located in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris and Singapore. 10pp in NYC office.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct administrative support to a key Senior Executive. Reports to Senior Executive and Corporate Controller. Manage calendar; schedule meetings as needed. Answer incoming calls and route accordingly. Schedule conference calls, web meetings, and video conferences as needed. Manage domestic and international travel and entertainment needs for Senior Executive; prepare detailed itineraries and necessary documents. Compose letters and correspondence. Prepare detailed expense reports. General knowledge of business, clients and who’s who within and outside of the firm. Assist and provide back-up coverage for admin team members as needed. Provide reception coverage as needed (10+ person office, so team-player attitude will be key). Complete various projects as needed. General clerical duties including filing, mailings, archiving, ordering and restocking supplies.
Requirements and Desired Skills: Experience in a Manhattan finance industry environment or similar. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Well organized, with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and reliably meet deadlines. Strong morals and ethics essential in dealing with confidential data. Ability to work independently once guidance and direction have been provided. Overall strong follow-through, consistency, professional work ethic, sensitivity to providing support when executive is traveling in other time zones. College degree preferred or the equivalent in professional experience
Hours/Benefits: 8:30 – 5:30; Exempt, discretionary bonus (10-15% range). 100% fully paid healthcare benefits; 15 days’ vacation.
