60-75K DOE Executive Associate to 2 Partners
This small (4-8pp at any given time) team is looking for an individual who takes pride in organizational excellence, has a natural curiosity for the world, and comes to work with an “ownership” mentality that no task is too small. Currently in shared office space and will be relocating to permanent space nearby before end of 2019.
Responsibilities: In addition to providing day-to-day administrative support to the 2 Partners - -calendar, travel, meeting material preparation, etc. - the EA will be organizing events, keeping the office in order, managing schedules / travel, creating marketing tools to organize inbound deals, and acting as the last line of defense for all information that passes through the organization. Assume these responsibilities represent the floor, not the ceiling. The successful candidate will be the first person in this role and will implement best practices for all relevant processes. The firm is dedicated to building a team of high integrity, driven, and caring individuals to support best-in-class entrepreneurs and this team member will help further shape this culture. This is a very flat organization and the EA will have transparent access to information, strong support from the principals and a strong opportunity to contribute to improving the fund’s operations. Very strong growth opportunity in the direction of Chief of Staff. Work/life balance is important and will make sure to protect this balance. The expectation is that the EA is available, responsive, and responsible for making sure that they stay ahead of their schedules.
Qualifications: Team player who takes pride in helping everyone become the best versions of themselves; ready to work your hardest to provide this support and guidance. Strong focus on details and quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, research experience, strong technical skills, gmail, social media, flexible to use and/or implement new systems. Able to identify organic growth opportunities with existing relationships and understand how to strategically expand the network to make sure that the Firm is top of mind for the right people at the right time. 1-3 years' experience in an office environment and strong interest in working in a small, entrepreneurial environment.

Hours/Benefits: 9:30am – 5:30pm, flexible to work some longer hours as needed. Fully paid healthcare, flexible vacation time. Discretionary bonus eligible.
