Facilities Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our facility and supporting the overall needs of the business in relation to building management, maintenance, and office services. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be a key point of contact for day-to-day facility operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and productive environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service.
- Manage scheduling and ensure all required facility services, such as cleaning, repairs, and maintenance, are performed on time.
- Monitor and maintain facility supplies and equipment inventory.
- Assist in managing building security, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and address any issues that arise (e.g., repairs, upgrades, or safety concerns).
- Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related inquiries and concerns from employees and visitors.
- Coordinate moves and set-ups for office spaces, including managing furniture, equipment, and workspace needs.
- Assist with managing budgets and expenses related to facilities services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.
- Support the Facilities Manager with planning and executing building improvement projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities management, office administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in facilities
