Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support the fixed income trade settlement lifecycle. This junior-level role will involve daily trade processing, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve trade details from Bloomberg and confirm trades with clients and counterparties
- Monitor trade flow into the clearing system
- Allocate and track trades through settlement
- Investigate and resolve settlement breaks
- Reconcile internal accounts and holdings
- Assist with opening new accounts as needed
- Prepare monthly reports and support audits and compliance reviews
- Follow written procedures and ensure operational controls are met
- Support ad hoc operations tasks as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in trade operations or financial services
- Understanding of fixed income trade settlement processes
- Strong Excel and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree required; Series 99 license preferred
