Job Description
Exciting opportunity to join the Accounting Department of a growing production company! Our client is looking for an experienced corporate accountant, ideally with media/production company experience, to join their growing team. Responsibilities for this role include managing budgets, itemizing expenses, creating purchase orders, and managing contractor payroll. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in corporate accounting and an understanding of QuickBooks. A candidate with production company experience is preferred, but will look at stand-out candidates from any industry.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Securing and coordinating production crew, equipment, catering, locations, etc.
- Wrapping projects
- Actualizing production budgets
- Creating Purchase Orders and Expense Reports
- Completing payroll
- Collecting and organizing post assets
- Maintaining company website
- Maintaining office organization/cleanliness
- Keeping track of and ordering all office supplies and snacks
- Hiring and supervising interns
- Itemizing office expenses
- Basic office bookkeeping

- Adobe Creative Cloud Proficiency is a plus (especially in Premiere and Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator a plus!)
- Knowledge of SquareSpace is a plus
- Knowledge of Showbiz budgeting software is a plus
- Knowledge of QuickBooks software is a plus
