Job Description
A leading global real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support its accounting operations. This role will focus on financial reporting, general ledger management, and budget preparation for a portfolio of commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly income statements, variance reports, and flux analysis
- Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations to sub-ledgers
- Maintain depreciation, amortization, accrual, and prepaid schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations and support year-end audit processes
- Assist in budget and reforecast preparation; input data into Yardi
- Review capital project expenditures and track draw requests
- Analyze tenant charges, sales tax, and construction activity
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of property accounting experience
- Proficiency with Yardi required
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines
